Attention NetGIL users: NetGIL SmartBadge is in Production for all site selector locations. Specific published applications are not compatible with SmartBadge, which will require certain users to login with their Username and Password. Applications that have been migrated to NetGIL 2003 are accessible with SmartBadge.
The following are pre-requisites for accessing NetGIL:
NetGIL Subscription:
Users with a GIL PC or GIL Laptop will need to obtain the NetGIL Secondary subscription ($10 per month) via GILSERV.
Third party associates without a GIL PC or Laptop will need to obtain the NetGIL Primary subscription ($78 per month) via GILSERV.
Hardware Requirements:
SmartBadge and four-digit PIN
High Speed Internet Connection
GIL PC or
Non-GIL PC with Windows XP and Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista
SmartBadge Connection kit for remote non-GIL PC's ($120) - available through GILSERV.
Software Requirements:
Citrix Presentation Server Client 10.x (or higher)
Users with a GIL PC should obtain the latest client from the GIL Options Panel.

Remote NetGIL SmartBadge Users: Users with slow intranet connections to NetGIL resources may have performance issues with SmartBadge authentication - especially with Remote Desktop. The SmartBadge PKI and NetGIL staff are researching improved methods to reduce the overhead required to complete user authentication. In the meantime, please follow instructions from the first item in the FAQ link and reboot your PC before you leave the office.
Please be advised that the NetGIL Inbox (NetGIL) is currently supported during North American office hours. NetGIL Users and Franchise Server Administrators with immediate requests are advised to contact the Helpdesk and assign requests to the NetGIL Staff.
